Simply follow the guide below to obtain a quote, without wasting your time or other local contractors having to travel and visit you unnecessarily.
Fence Installation Cost
Fence installation prices will depend on the fence type you’re after and the size of your garden. For a 36-foot (6 panels) wood fence installation, the average costs including materials is likely to be between £800 for the most common fencing 6×6 foot (overlap panels), with wooden posts and gravel boards to £1,500 for premium slatted 6×6 foot panels.
Waste/Fence Removal – In addition to the above cost you will need to factor in the removal of any existing fencing. Remember it is likely each existing fence post and concrete supporting the posts will have to be dug up and disposed of as well as the fencing above. On average a 6 panel fences, posts and support can be dug up and disposed of in one day @ a cost of £200 per day. We can leave the waste soil/rubble in rubble bags along with the fence panels cut into manageable sections to allow you to dispose of the waste at your local council waste disposal centre saving you the additional cost of hiring a ship at around £300.
What are Gravel Boards? Gravel boards are the horizontal panels at the bottom of a fence that helps to prevent animals from going under the fence as well as helping to preserve the life of your fence.
Every project will be slightly different due to the lay of the land, the current ground and the amount of time it takes to prepare the ground to install the fencing.
We recommend looking at the Wickes website help decide on the right fencing options for you and your budget or the Jacksons website if you are looking for higher end fencing.
