We were asked to install artificial grass in the shaded back garden of a Victorian house in Greenwich.
The client had already ordered the Lazylawn and under sheet for an are approximately 3.5m x 5m.
Like any job it was important to prepare the groundwork and use the correct materials in order to create a long lasting finish in order to provide a professional artificial grass installation for our client in Greenwich.
Our quote included the following:
~ Prepare the ground by cutting back part of a tree stump that could cause some damage to the Acer tree however we will try to minimise the damage.
~ Lay and compact a layer of fine stone and post mix (or equivalent)
~ Lay a 2nd layer of up-to 6mm of dust granite stone (or equivalent)
~ install the client supplied weed membrane
~ Install the client supplied artificial grass using 4 inch galvanised nails
~ Apply kiln dried sand over the artificial grass
We also hired the ground compactor and carried through all materials received by the client.
