We converted a Pergola into a Pagoda using western red cedar wood shingles in order to give a Japanese look and feel to a garden in Carlton Greenwich.
Not only does the cedar wood smell fantastic but with all the curves it gives a fantastic look.
A pagoda is similar to a Pergola with the main difference being it has a roof and is common in Asia.
Every tile had to be cut to size in order to give a perfect fit. While the roof of this Pagoda was very complex and time consuming, it really helps to give that scene of tranquillity.
